My Experience

I have performed extensive research and/or successfully provided expert testimony in kinship hearings in Kings County Surrogate’s Court, Queens County Surrogate’s Court and New York Surrogate’s Court, New York, USA. I have located heirs and assets for: individuals, corporations, estates, agents, Trustees, liquidators and receivers as well as various law firms over the past 20 years. I have worked on kinship cases since 2006.

My work has been truly global researching, family members and heirs in countries including but not limited to: USA, England, Ireland, England, South Africa, Poland, modern day Ukraine, Australia, Norway, Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Israel, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, Belgium, Argentina, Brazil, India, Morocco, Egypt, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Sweden, Luxembourg, Spain, etc. My research has therefore, included families from multiple ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.

Worldwide due diligence

As mentioned I undertake research worldwide to establish a person’s family tree, which work may likely involve foreign ancestors and/or heirs. Because of my knowledge of several languages, my skill and experience in the field of genealogy and my ability to work both in the United States and in foreign countries, my services are unique and have proven beneficial to my clients.

Furthermore, in having lived overseas I understand how to communicate with people from different cultures, often in their native language. My experience affords me the ability to talk to people about personal matters and gather information, and gain the cooperation of individuals to the benefit of the case. I typically remain the point of contact between myself, the attorney the clients throughout the kinship process.

My work and experience all these years, has also included obtaining documents overseas and I have worked with many law firms especially in New York City but also overseas. As I have successfully researched, testified in and completed due diligence in kinship and estate due diligence cases, invariably those cases included heirs and ancestors from more than one country.
